I've been coming to this library since the 6th grade and so much has changed since then. After their renovation, many of the furniture are brand new and it just feels more like a place to come read and study. Occasionally, I go back to study for my nursing exams now. I use the quiet area in the back which has semi private desks and switches to control the curtains (esp during sunset)  Read Less

The male librarian who's been there for years now is someone I avoid.  He is brash, loud, makes himself look foolish by trying to put patrons down.  Just a really abrasive guy who probably doesn't mean to be obnoxious, but has zero social skills and acts like a total jerk.I never use the checkout desk but had to one day and because of his lame know-it-all personality, messed up my account, showing that I checked out two of the same book.  I did get that resolved by someone else.  I myself have tried for years to get a job at a county library and would be darned great at it, but they employ the likes of him??  He def has to be related to a county bigwig.  Ugh.  I am so done w/that library because of him.  Read Less

The discovery room is awesome. Just call, reserve, and you've got a room filled with books, puzzles, music, instruments, toys, and discovery items ad it's your own 14x14 playspace. Pretty awesome, especially on a rainy Hurricane Irene afternoon. The library is medium size with medium-tall shelves brimming with media, books, and periodicals. Spaces and days like these remind me of visiting grandparents on the shore and storms are here and the library and it's magic books make me forget to miss the sun, at least for a few hours!  Read Less
