If you're looking for me, I'll be at Magnolia's!!!This is the absolute best nail experience ever. Background:I've had ONE natural nail experience in my life, and it was 10 years ago for my best friend's wedding. Since then, I've found myself at nail shops getting the norm: a quick basic manicure or gel nails. Yelp led me to Magnolia's. A super cute nail clinic with knowledgeable staff who...wait for it...care about your darn nails. They make you feel relaxed as soon as you walk through the door. Carter and his staff are top notch! Let's talk about the experience and what sets them apart from the rest...The Experience:When entering, if you have an appt for a mani, just walk up to the bar...no need to stop at the front desk. They will go over options for your nail experience that day, depending on what's needed/desired. You are offered a beverage and warm neck ring before starting. Magnolia's use a card system for their staff. Here, staff will rotate to take care of your nail needs. The card will tell them which step you're on so they can step up and continue where you last left off. You will see multiple people work on your nails as their belief is the more eyes on your nails, the better. Although I did not receive a pedicure, I was informed that they will not rotate on your feet. This rotation only apply to nail services. Everyone explained each step of the process and how your nails could benefit from the products. You never feel rushed, instead you feel like you are supposed to sit back and let them take care of your nails. As part of my mani, I was provided several hand scrubs to decided between (all smelling so good). They send you over to the sink area to dry scrub (no water) if possible for 2 minutes. Once done, they continue on with the manicure. Also included is a hand paraffin dip. You dip (with assistance), placing her wrapped hands in gloves. You return to the bar to allow the dip to cool slightly before they remove it. The Atmosphere:No loud tools, no stinky fumes, no nail dust flying, no language barrier...just really smart professional people surrounded by top of the line products (and good music from the Sonos speaker). The decor is modern elegance and very clean. Bathrooms are nice, and expected based you on the rest of the clinic. I'm a sucker for black toilets, so just know that I was in love here. There are no individual chairs or lamps, it's really a bar where the Magnolia staff is behind the bar and you're sitting it really comfy chairs on the other side. The End: As a first timer here, my manicure was surprisingly free (Carter let me know this as soon I arrived). I didn't feel right and wanted to get a pedicure (so I could pay full survive for something). Unfortunately, they were booked and couldn't fit me in. Remember, this is full experience, so no 15 minute service here. You can tip by card, if you allow them to charge you $0.01. Awesome. I put a tip on my card and boom...all done. They ask that you tip as if you only saw one person. Why? At the end of their day, they pool all the money together and split it. This way, you as the customer never feel like you have to book with one person. Last item: they sell everything they use. So if you want to do some in-between maintenance, you can. Or if you just love the hand scrub, grab one or 4!!I plan to send all my friends here (if they know what's good for them), out of town guests, and my husband! Gift giving just got easier!!!Thanks Magnolia for the warm welcome and finally getting me back excited to get my nails done. Read Less
