visiting us while on Spring Break Thats a big age difference but the Tiny Towne concept sounded like it had something for everyonennFirst off I would encourage newbies to go to the Tiny Towne website and research the age requirements for the cars Every driver must have a TT ID Card Little kids cannot jump on the big track and the bigger kids must pass a series tests before they can drive around the TT road course Be aware that it takes time for the older kids to earn their TT permit It starts with a prerecorded presentation that covers road sign recognition and basic driving safety That is followed by a test that takes the average TT driver 3 attempts to pass After scoring 100 on the test they proceed to the simulator The final step is a loop around the TT course complete with stop lights stop signs yields etc with an instructor Again the process takes time but the kids will have an incredible sense of achievement once they pass their tests and are allowed to drive solonnFor kids too young to drive by themselves there is a carcade with age appropriate games and rides as well as a TT train for all ages There are also some games for the older kids in the arcade but the options are limited The cars by far are the main attractionnnTT also offers party rooms and a small cafe There were two parties taking place with younger kids when we arrived and both groups appeared to be having a great timennA couple of quick tipsnn 1 Driving cars or playing in the arcade requires TT ID Card You cannot at this time purchase a generic card for playing games in the arcade We made the mistake of loading all of the credits on the 11 year olds card and then had to go back for a TT ID with additional credits for the 25 year oldnn 2 There are tablets at the entrance for creating TT IDs for the kids Some guests made the mistake of waiting in line without realizing that they had to register first or have an existing IDnn 3 TT does not provide wrist bands linking children to adults Most the attractions we visited are that way just be awarennOverall we had a great time During this process I learned that kids dont have to slam into one another or drive at high speeds to enjoy themselves The skills that they learn while driving around TT will serve as a solid foundation for a lifetime of
