I am currently on day 10 of 14 and have had a fabulous time here at this hotel and resort nnFirstly unlike most reviews I will start with an overview of the weaknesses of this resort as the positives greatly outweigh the weaknesses but the weaknesses need to be aired in order the next generation of guests to have a slightly improved stay nnFirstly and for the younger and for the younger traveller to note the WiFi in the guest rooms of the main building is poor and unreliable and will drop out unless you and your device is close to the floor In the reception area it is reliable and fast and so I would recommend that if you have favourite films programmes etc that you want to watch in your downtime please make sure you have downloaded these to your device as hoping to stream the on your arrival will lead to disappointment There are loads of WiFi extenders on each of the floors but for some reason they either can’t handle the WiFi traffic or the signals are interrupted enough to cause enough annoyance to the most laidback person nnSecondly the a la Carter dining experience can differ greatly and following my experience at the steak house restaurant has put me off completely from wanting to attend the others I must clarify that the food was utterly amazing at the steak house but the experience was poor as the menu was not made available beforehand and somewhat limiting to those in my part due to the lack of choice The same goes for the other a la carte restaurants as there is no prior notice on what the menu will be before booking nnLunch however at the steak house is amazing with the best burgers I have ever tasted being servednnStill I guess that each traveller will have to make their own minds up as to their experiences and feedback to the hotel nnThirdly if you are someone who likes to use room service at hotels this is not the place for you Just tried to order some food as me and my party missed lunch due the being out and about but was told that room service is not available unless I was unable to get to the restaurant This is despite the room service menu saying that they provide 24hr service Guess I’ll wait until dinner to eat nnUm… I guess that is all I can really say about this hotels weakness some may say I am being really picky but these little things will surely improve your holiday experience if they were improved uponnnThe strengths of this hotel well and truly rest upon the shoulders of its staff and the quality service they provide From the moment we checked in I have truly felt spoilt by everyone from the reception staff through to the waiting and bar staff and on to the housekeepers who really work hard to ensure all of your needs are metnnDining at the Club Turban is impeccable Some may say catering en mass can lead tasteless poor quality catering but not here There is a massive range of food on offer catering to all tastes There are a number of British travellers at this hotel and all appear happy with the food on offer It would be great if the hotel would offer bacon and pork sausages but this being a Muslim country I understand why it is not on offer Btw the infinity bar and restaurant just outside the hotel grounds do offer a great English brekkie for £4nnDrinks are of a good standard and it is great the the bar staff know how to make a decent g u0026 t and a wide range of cocktails nEntertainment wise there is lots on offer for the whole family Me and me family are not good at joining in but we have had a hoot with the entertainment team Big shout out has to go to Çhatgay who has single handedly managed to get me and my family in to aqua aerobics water gymnastics and made this a fun and enjoyable experience nnAnother mention has to go out to Khan who has instilled in me a joy for water polo Big love too has to be shared with his supervisor sorry can’t remember his name but he is a muscular chap with a heart of gold and a sense of humour to match These guys have been central in motivating poolside dwellers both male and female of all ages and experiences to participate in a team sport I have made new friends because of these guys and I wish to thank them and their colleagues
