Initially we had done a lot of our own research on apartment buildings and neighborhoods in addition to talking with a few friends in chicago but we soon realized we did not know the real estate market nor the city well enough and did not feel comfortable to make this big of a decision on our own

It was not at all the horrible real estate broker experience my friends had encountered but rather quite the opposite
