I find comments such as "memories from years ago" incredibly invalidating. It just sets up a false narrative where you feel there's some hope for abusive people to get better. Don't be passive aggressive.

I saw him about a year ago he desperately tried to make some sort of psychic connection he blurted out a few sentences which absolutely made no sense he finally just said he was unable to make any psychic connection and could not read for me
