I did not want noise cancelling as the noise cancelling on low end headphones is mostly crap and can cause the sound to be worse
The sound is great and the mic works well over skype and games
I am deaf in one ear so i cannot comment of the directional hearing of these headphones but they pick up every noise in cs go and make it pretty easy to guess where the sound is coming from
They are lightweight and sturdy
