Pros
The rice cooker is perfect every time. It's my favorite kitchen appliance. It keeps my small counter from looking cluttered.
We use it 4-5 times a week and rave about how easy it is to clean. Cleaning is a breeze, but you do have to plan ahead as you're probably waiting 40+ mins for a batch to be ready.
The piece was reasonably priced and arrived quickly. Even the cord reel still works perfectly. Its retractable cord is amazing.
It cooks the rice evenly and very tasty rice. It also keeps your rice warm without drying it out. Where it shines, though, is with cooking short-grain white rice.
This rice cooker solves the problem. Measure the rice with the included scoops. Use the handy rice spatula that has its own hook on the machine.
Cons
The z warranty is useless. Very disappointed this japanese product.
Trying to return for free from australia to the usa is a * nightmare, can cost upwards of close to 200 dollars. I have to pay the mailing fee and repair fee, which could be simply over $100.
