Pros

If one wants authentic japanese cutlery, yoshihiro is definitely an option. High carbon steel may corrode, rust but any instrument you may value, you take care of. Great sushi knife.

Handle feels bold and steady with beautiful grip. Well balanced which ensures some confidence in the hands of a rookie.

This knife definitely does its intended job. It glides through fish. It makes portioning fish a breeze. It slices the fish effortlessly.

This is the second knife i buy, after my first sharpening on 1k for 5min. D one for beginners or. Simply put an amazing tool. As a the cheap chinese copy i started out with is useful again with a long water stone sharpening session.

The blade is masterfully crafted and honed. I maintain it even keener with the help of a sink bridge and a series of japanese water stones.

Cons

Mine got chipped after 2 months of using. After washing and drying the blade, there will be water drop marks. Beside that, it is easy to get rusted too.
