Pros
The knife shows quality craftsmanship and feels good in the hand. Handle feels bold and steady with beautiful grip. It capability is above my ability, so i have plenty of room to grow.
It glides through fish. It makes portioning fish a breeze. Our son creats wonderful sushi feasts with it.
The blade is razor sharp and holds a nice edge. The d-shaped handle is ergonomic and helps to counter balance the length of the blade.

Cons
Mine got chipped after 2 months of using. After washing and drying the blade, there will be water drop marks like rusty ones. It's not even the sharpest knife out there because my zwilling feels sharper.

I purchased this knife a couple of years ago now along with a 210mm deba so i have some timedepth perspective on its quality and usefulness
This was a replacement knife for a much shorter noname brand purchased in a chinese market that wouldnt cut string

Anyone who has chipping issues i dont know if theyre hitting bone or the board or something but yanagiba have very thin and fragile cutting edges
