You really need to get the waterproof case to attach the camera to this handle

Make sure the case you get is waterproof because if youre buying this handle because of its floating capabilities the assumption is youre taking the camera out on the water

Im still a little too nervous and protective of the camera itself to actually try this test with the camera inside the waterproof case but the knowledge that i could recover it if i was to drop it in a lake while i was out fishing is reassuring

If you spend a lot of time near water i strongly recommend getting this handle if youre looking to record video at the same time
