Pros

Clean base, even with the wireless transmitter. I just find it syncs with the towers better. Easy to reach volume control on the front instead of the rear (as on the polk).

The sound quality is just phenomenal compared to my previous subwoofer. It does well with explosions and space ship rumble. This price is higher than other models because it is a superior product as far as quality of hardware and sound.

The drum pedals have that deep and punchy kick to them. It has an elegant piano black finish which is beautiful. It offers tight, clean bass, no muddy sound.

Nht bookshelf speakers with 6 woofers comprise the stereo portion of my audio system. Have the ns-sw300 as the main woofer and a yamaha yst-315 as the secondary woofer behind the couch. They are mated to a yamaha rx-v73.

Yamaha ns-sw300 extends the bass down cleanly (if not lower) in its final right-outside location. Front canted inwards similar to the nht's permanent canted face. Appears to extend my bass range down to the claimed 20 hz with no coloration.

Cons

System connector is bad! Trying to see if it can be repaired or is a total loss! Worst design. Started excessive popping and vibration after 6 months with minimal use in theater room. It is a terrible design that ruins a good sub.
