Pros
Construction of this safe is excellent & sturdy (the one i received is anyway as i know some other reviewers items aren't) i bought this one for my elderly (81 years old) mother as she now has to have careers in due to poor health.
Easy to set up, install, sound is loud enough and clear (as husband forgot password)! Override with key. The battery pack inside the door looks and feels a bit cheap, but there are 4 batteries include to put in it.
Cons
The electronic keypad is prone to failure and in my case it only lasted a couple of weeks. Everytime i open my safe i have to remove a battery for me to be able to open it using the code. Does not open when new password is set so have to result in usi... Read More
To my disappointment this has exactly the same flaw. Very poor for yale-branded product imo.

This is the way i set mine up remove battery cover on inside of safe door install all 4 batteries press red button once bleep sound heard set your code on front of safe door then press the key symbol this sets the code only nothing else
