There is a volume adjuster on the speaker itself in addition to the volume adjuster on the device you have it hooked up to which is pretty cool

The plug rolls up in a convenient space carved out for that specific purpose so instead of a bunch of wires to roll up and pack separately the wire rolls up into that space and all you have left is the tiny speaker the size of your palm and nothing else

The lid on the top of the device can be flipped down to muffle the sound coming out or flipped up for maximum volume

It is no bother at all and if your music is that loud to begin with then you shouldnt be able to hear the bouncing anyway
