It is nice that the packaging includes bolts for fastening the magnets. Bought this to mount a bike tail signal light on my scooter. Holds multiple big kitchen knives without any worry of dropped knives.

If you are looking to improve your magnets i would suggest a matte black finish and a hook accessory that you can insert through the center and tighten on the reverse side while staying flush with the backside of the magnet

Instead of bolting security plate over the door opening we used the bolt holes in doors frame to mount these magnets instead

Sticking to a thin walled tool box it’s not going to hold as much as it would stuck to solid steel so consider that in your application
