Pros & Cons
Pros
This is the best canned salmon i have found. It is very easy and quick to use skinless and boneless canned salmon.
Price is a little high but i have it on subscribe and save. On a per lb. It is extremely good salmon. We have been buying a similar product - same size and everything accept the price from costco for years.
It's boneless, it's skinless, and the flavor is good. Great texture with no mushy pieces at all.
Always a pantry staple. When you eat salmon everyday, it kind of breaks your wallet a little.
Cons
The salmon itself is tasteless with a mush consistency. Unlike their other seafood this is not bpa free. Cans were dented and 2 were opened and spilled all over the envelope.

Competitiveness
I made salmon patties just a week ago and they tasted sooooo much better than the old brand i used to use
This canned salmon is definitely better than any i have purchased at my local grocery stores
Made the mistake of thinking i could buy a 34similar34 product at a nearby large chain store
Check the labels compared to starkist bumblebee and others

If you check out the wild planet website youll see that no bpa is used in the linings of their cans but theyve left off the bpafree designation to be aboveboard in their compliance with government standards using the most current rigorous testing for bpa trace amounts may show up in samples though none was used in production

The absence of the msc designation for sustainability is not on wild planet foods because the company considered the criteria of the msc program too low and the cost of participating in the program too high

I cannot cook salmon steaks three times a week so i grill once a week and fillin the other weekly portions with this at lunch instead of tuna

The can portion is about 2 ounces more than a typical can of tuna more costly but tastes really good and way better for you
