My previous towel warmer was3 rows of separated rods for heat which only warmed the towel in specific areas not all over

Its design is very good and it is not too hot enough hot to warm so when you forget your things on it they do not burn

While not as nice feeling as a hot water based towel warmer this unit still feels a bit like europe

It gets the towels very warm not hot and definitely not as hot as the dryer

There are a couple of minor dings and better ways to use itfor the bath towels i use the unit is a bit narrow if i doublefold the towel as recommended and it does work better doing that it still sticks over both edges slightly

Unfortunately the towel unavoidably loses heat fairly rapidly once taken off the hampton

The unit does emit a scent which goes away after a few days of use
