Pros & Cons

Update Pros and Cons

Pros

The battery life is good, depending on the batteries of course. They are great to light up rooms during power outage. Ordered a couple for myself.

Each lantern has many diodes though, so, for $15 i guess that's not too bad. A good flashlight for almost anywhere.

Cons

Lightweight, but only 1 intensity setting. Light will not spread up or down & the circumference it lightens is miniscule. I just wish it functioned as intended.

Very heavy and very cheaply made. One lantern has something inside it that rattles when i shake the lantern.

Quality

Bright bright strong very easy to use and store

Mildly bright light, gives off enough light for a single room during a power outage

We've had a series of long power failures (one for almost 24 hours) and i have not yet had to replace the batteries.

A couple of months ago i knocked the lamp on my nightstand off and broke it.

Price

Priced right and a necessity for smart people.

For power outages to kids forts in the living room they put out a good amount of light for the price.

Value for money, durability it’s okay can be better.

Shipping

I bought these and promptly forgot about them for months.

Packaging/appearance

These come in handy when the power goes out, glad they came in a 2 pack, they are very bright and light the area perfectly.

They come in a pack of two but i only got batteries enough for one, so you might want to get extra batteries.

Competitiveness

I couldn't have made a better choice for the price.

But i've had top brands in the past and i'm also a first responder, would use them for sure for the long haul.

So the way the description was worded is that when you pull it out only halfway only half the lights come on

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

When you adjust it and only lift it out enough to have the first set of bulbs showing its still fully on

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Which is kind of silly and a design flaw

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Basically even if its only raised a bit all of the bulbs are still on and its draining the battery
