It is strong - and my dog lunges a lot on it - feels sturdy. The leash is very durable. It is easy to hold on to and will not slip out of your hand or slide like nylon ones do.

I was thinking for that long if i went thicker it would get to heavy but this is too thin

If it was shorter and thin it would probably be fine but even tho i work real hard to keep it looped neatly in my hand and feed it out as needed the rubber just tangles with itself and gets in knots that i have to pick apart while the dog is pulling
