You need to make sure you have the 1 post for installation i had a dish up and used the pole that was there initially to big for this antenna but was able to clamp on a 1 steel pipe to make it work

My son has an antenna his samsung tv populates a guide my sharp tv does not populate a guide have to check online to see whats coming up bit of a drawback check to see if your tv has that capability
