Pros

This product is all that was advertised. Have had zero issues with this device. They work together flawlessly.

The only issue is that the channel -/+ * on the steering wheel behave different depending on your car. My 6-disc cd changer continues to function as it should. Unplugging the existing xm harness is a bit of a struggle.

Each preset is assigned to a sort category. There's also a mode which assigns the presets to the first 6 playlists on your device. Whichever sort order i'm in, the tuning knob changes the song.

Installed on my wife's 2004 accord ex sedan with xm, dual climate, non-nav.

Cons

There were only like 2 screws. Unplug your xm radio. While not a huge deal, it is an inconvenience. Went well except there is a high pitched squeal when an ipod is connected.

Usa spec wants $75 to help diagnose and fix the item. I received a refund from amazon. I know why their warranty is so short.

Ended up having to buy a new ipodltgtpa15hon2 cable after several months

I picked one up at target for around 30 and hooked it right up and it works perfectly

Couldnt ask for more for the money

I was able to pay a retail price of 20 elsewhere for the replacement cable

I recently contacted the manufacture for a replacement cable that they wanted to sell it to me for almost 40 with shipping

I stayed away from the bluetooth options from other companies as this seemed to me the most reliable unit based on feedback

They explained it would only work with the apple branded product

I compared the 4 to 5 extra pins used against the gta car kits unit

The integration and controls on this unit are far superior from all others ive tried
