If you switch modes a lot you better use it all the time or keep the instructions handy because changing the light modes is not intuitive

The brightness of the white settings can be adjusted by holding the button and releasing when you get to the right brightness

I especially love that you can turn the lamp on directly into red mode since we are often using this at night time and do not want to be blinded with a white light
