I goofed not thinking it would not work for typical household extension cords with 3 plugs on one end

I love the idea of this product and it works well my only complaint on the product or suggestion would be that most christmas lights do not have plugs or connectors that go exactly end to end most have the wires pop out the underside of them and therefore the inner sections of the protector should have a larger opening to remedy this issue

In other words the connections are not like an extension cord that run in a straight line from one end to the other most light strings connect at either end but the strand comes out the side of the connection and requires a little more room inside the protector

So we ordered a few multipacks 20 of these to cover the connections between our holiday string lights in the yard which would constantly blow the gfci breaker when the sprinklers came on or it rained
