Pros

A 1/2 ratchet with a tighter fitting 6 pt. Pin is well made and easy to install and tighten. Even says trimax on the wrench included. The nut seems to be welded fairly well on my retainer.

The hitch bolt is sturdy and the locking mechanism is a straightforward barrel lock with two keys and a rubber weather cap. It is more secure than using the supplied allen bolt while still being simpler to install.

For the price and functionality, it is very good. Works really well, and the surface drive is effective, but it makes the whole package sort of pricey. Great buy and fast shipping.

After trying a number of different methods (shims, clams, etc. This item does the job. Definitely a must have, works like a charm!

The locking mech is smooth and durable. Lock works great as does the waterproof cover. Great if your going to leave anything unattended for a period of time.

Cons

The shaft on the receiver is too short for my trailer hitch by about an eighth of an inch. The reason i can still use it is because of the threaded end opposite the locking mechanism, which means that the receiver shaft is actually bolted to the trail... Read More
