Pros
Water feels softer, skin and hair soft and far less dry and cleaning showers and areas are much faster and easier. Dishes seem cleaner and the dishwasher no longer makes a high pitched sqeaky noise.
Surprised is an understatement. Bang for the buck this is impossible to beat.

Water typically is about 3 grains of hardness so it’s not real hard. We moved from an area with 3-5 grains water hardness to a area with 9-12+ grain water hardness.
Cons
Pipes were still clogged up after 6 months. Several plumbers tell me this is bunk, you can drink it. I kindly ask the supplier to provide evidence with a test and share the video.
