It's been happily doing its thing for about a month now with no issues. After a week of solid use, no hiccups at all. A good source of pigtails are local thrift shops like goodwill.

This is perfect for my unifi wifi 6 lite poe access point. While this device is a bit more pricey, i definitely consider it worth it. Used them to power cisco access points, the feel solid and well-made.

The smaller (2. Mm) outer diameter certainly isn't 5. Do not use on any grounded equipment like a cable modem. Continuously kept dropping the connections on a long run within the perimeters of the specs.

The unit is well ventilated and at 24w load it is not getting very hot
