I could not get the tivo to sync up once the converter box was set up could watch live tv with no tivo but once tivo was hooked up it was haywire

Turned out we needed this ir blaster to plug into the back of the tivo then stick in fron of the ir reader on the new cable box this way the tivo could talk to the new transmitter and everyone was happy
