Must read for dresden fans. With just the right touch of humor and sarcasm. From the first line i read of the dresden files series to this last line i have loved the characters, the storytelling, and the creative genius these books embody.
This story takes place soon after the destruction of the previous book. We get an up close and personal look at harry dresden and how our favorite wizard for hire deals with his grief and loss.
Jim butcher sweeps in deliving a present to pass away the summer doldrums.

It also set up some of the next book with harrys and laras dating never thought you would need a legal staff to determine acceptable terms for a date lol and the general disposition of chicago toward anything supernatural
