To start off i would like to note that i am by no means an expert when it comes to skateboards or even skateboarding in general

The pro being that the ride is smoother due to the flex acting as a sort of suspension for bumps and such the con is that flexibility reduces speed by some amount and in addition the bearings arent the fastest
