Now this old gun has a new lease on life and has quickly become one of my favorite guns for upland hunting. Works ok on really clean metal but was hoping it would be darker.

On the krag it was blotchy and rubbed off over and over again with each application

But if you dont properly prep and clean the surface then the end result will reflect that
