S-video and composite both well, outputs 720p and 1080p properly. Works perfectly on both players and also work on my vcr. If you have a tv with no composite inputs then this is what you need and not just for games.
Manage your expectations. It works as advertised. My highest recommendation for this product.

Cons
If your tv doesn't have composite. Hookups, i recommend an audio receiver instead. When i plug my nintendo 64 into the converter and turn it on, the white box saying no signal remains.

Great product for converting video and audio to a 4k led tv
Worked great when it worked but the power cord was defective kept cutting out if it was touched sending back

This thing is wonderful since its affordable and supports svideo
Less expensive than a new dvd player that already has a lot of good features
The cost does not end there though youd have to be prepared to mod your n64 for rgb out in order to make it worth it stuff like that
Otherwise i love this thing for hooking up for twitch streams until i can afford a ultrahdmi 64 eventually

I searched the internet and found for the most part that i had to be set the laserdisc player to play back correctly in the menu

Turns out laserdisc players will only play back through the super vhs cable

Changing the output from 480 or 720 or 1090 doesnt make a difference since the best out a laserdisc player will do is 480
