I wanted to be sure it was going to work when we arrived in mexico and found out it was actually possible to test the activation while still in the us if you have tmobile signal in your area

We dont have tmobile in our area but it was still good enough to briefly get a bar of signal and receive a promotional text message in spanish to confirm it was working before we left
