Since the strips are sticky enough to stay on your teeth and covered with whitening gel they can be a little messy if you dont get them smoothly applied to your teeth on the first go but this is not a really due to a design flaw or specific to this product

If you look at the photo of the strips they are pretty short and dont extend back past your most visible front teeth

Thats not specific to this brand theyre all like that so if youre really worried about getting your whole mouth covered youd be better off with a system that comes with one of those trays that looks like a sports mouth guard

It has been my experience in the past that the strips are awkward to apply and they do not stay on for the full treatment of 30 minutes
