However it feels like it was made for a much deeper phone although my 6s clips into the back very nicely the fold over flap is too big leaving quite a large gap between the screen and the case when closed

The best thing is that your phone screen is always protected as its covered and you can drop it in the bag or pocket the screen will not get damaged

Having had many cases before that have credit card slots i have found the magnetic clasp does not allow you to place if you are lucky any more than 2 cards within before the clasp is too wide to snap shut
