The assembly of the wheel was poor so a lot of the spokes were too loose

I couldnt correct them properly without a stand and the bike store is too far away to keep going back and forth all the time

I clamped it to a desk inside and was able to get the spokes tensioned properly with a key and true the wheel afterwards in conjunction with referring to haynes manuals the bike book

There is a bit of flex in the sides so they can be bent slightly inwards if you want to fit a narrow front wheel
