    There are some really nice websites out there that show you how to properly hone a blade

    If you have any chips in the blade or if you need to rebevel the blade you should also pick up a rougher waterstone to rework the blade

    Because it is two stones mashed into one it may have a greater tendency than usual to warp one way or another
