Pros & Cons
Pros
It is faster than my clearing saw for everything but saplings. It just effortlessly sails through grass, weeds, * vines and small sapling. Really nice at not spraying grass everywhere like weedwacking.
This rotary scissor line trimmer head is worth every penny! It is a pricey trimmer attachment, but imo, the value is there. Used this on a convertible type toro * eater.
It is loud and soaks up a lot of power. I find the weight and noise to be very manageable. It drains battery quicker than other accessories.
It cuts so smoothly that i have sliced right through the ground under the grass without noticing. The cuts are exceptionally clean. Quality of cut is excellent.
Both work great, but with some tradeoffs. Frequent greasing is messy, but it is a necessity for longevity. Stihl and sten are recommended by their manufacturers as edgers.
Cons
It makes an expensive paperweight. Amazon has no option to warranty or replace it. Main screw hole which holds the attachment to my husqvarna trimmer has stripped and no longer goes this snugly.
