I frequently move between ipad and iphone and have had no issues with the controller
You can see the resemblance for sure to the xbox 1 controllers but with the two sticks at the bottom it plays like a ps4 controller
Price
This was recommended by my gamer brotherinlaw and despite the cost i went for it given he recommended nothing else would be equivalent
Packaging/appearance
It works and it one of the least expensive controllers that will work on the appletv

Many controllers these days will work on any platform at least as far as computers are concerned but this one will not
