It is not so bright however that if it goes off while we are inside it is obnoxious or anything

One thing to keep in mind however if you are planning on buying this light just because it has 16 lights does not mean it will be twice as bright as the type of lights with 8 leds

The first night it didnt get much sun either but the light was bright and illuminated clearly about 12 feet away
