Shih tzu-chihuahua puppy is very energetic & *. I have a 5 pound mini dachshund puppy 5 months old.

The xs fits my 14 week chihuahua perfect. She weighs 3 lbs and this xs vest fits her well. I do have to put the velcro strap all the way over.

The effect is reproducible. Now that i've taught him to sit, it's easier to put it on. He tries to chew it sometimes when i am putting it on but so far the vest has held up.

Our chihuahua is scared to death of this harness. It keeps clattering and clicking loudly behind his head.

The d rings and buckle are way too heavy duty for a dog of the advertised toy/mini size.
