True the fountain will stop when even a wispy cloud crosses the sun but im in socal so thats not often a problem

I tuned the fountain by tilting the middle bowls slightly downward and adding a jar of small river rocks under the bottom spout for a louder splashing sound

I also wipe down the solar cell once a week

Beautiful but only works when sunny had to buy a larger solar panel

The only negative is that the solar panel only works in direct sunlight even cloud cover will stop the pump and doesnt store power
