    The plot and pacing are decent but the characters arent as well developed the tech could use more description and some of the statements the author makes about government in a technically advanced society are about as subtle as the plasma weapons his characters wield

    I tend to skim a bit too much through some explanations but in this book if you dont grasp how the tech works you might find yourself a bit lost later on when that tech is used
