Pros

Great value to replace skytech 1001-a remote and transmitter. Easy installation and much cheaper than buying it at a fireplace store. We had a fireplace tech come hown to the house, he told us we don't have a remote plugged in.

A great deal that is installed and working like a charm. Arrived within 3 days. Fantastic customer service. Took about 2 minutes. We are excited that everything worked out.

Cons

The batteries go dead and when i replace them i need to re-learn the remote to the base unit. Reprogrammed the unit. Tried all the steps to reset and reprogram remote.

No replacement parts available due to transmitter is mated to reciever. It also has intermittent problems maintaining contact with the transmitter.
