Will wind bobbins quickly but fails to shut off when the bobbin is full

It is cheap plastic construction but it does what it is supposed to do just have to rethread around the tensioner each time or the next bobbin will not wind properly

When the bobbin is full it shuts off but does it so abrupt that the thread gets out of place in the tensioner

I never thought i would need one of these until i got a 6 needle embroidery machine and the bobbins could not be wound on it and don’t fit on any of my other machines

I bought this because the bobbin winder in my sewing machine quit working right in the middle of making face masks at a time when all the machine repair shops are closed for the lockdown

The only issue i have is the winder starts immediately when plugged in before i even press the red on button hence the 4 star rating

Feels like a funky dinky toy and no instruction booklet so if anyone ordered and they havent sewn before they would be clueless on what to do or how to operate it without thorough instructions
