Pros & Cons

Pros

Banana plugs fit the amplifier and speakers very snugly. I like the way the ends are * and not crimped. I do use a furman 20db power conditioner as well on my system.

Gold plated pcs speaker cable connectors (banana w/ 90 degree option) also from amazon. Feet seems a bit steep -- though not egregiously. Even then they seem reasonably priced.

Cons

It really gas off a very irritating smell. The smell is incredibly chemically. Someone knows what the smell is and can say if its poisonous/toxic and should there be a product recall. It really is that bad!

Crimp or (probably better) solder the pins into the body. Ask for a refund if faulty.

The banana spec is off quite a bit - they are loose, very loose. The plugs seem cheaply made and assembled.

These produce a tone of static. I'm sure this will fade over time. But for now, they are of no use.

Quality

I am very impressed with this product

What i can say is that i am happy with the product in general and the sound i am getting out of my speakers

No sound quality noticed compared with entry level audio quest cable that cost 4x more

There is some compromise with the banana plugs

Price

For the price i doubt there are any other that match the build quality

Packaging/appearance

Only thing is i wish the packaging had a silverback ape on it would be so fitting

Competitiveness

And they sound significantly better to me than romex the bestsounding cheapest alternative

I use this with a micca origain ad250 dacamp and two floorstanding polk t50 speakers

These now bananaterminated cables are ready to try with a much more powerful contemporary marantz av reciever
