My specific use for these hooks was to help safely and neatly suspend extra cables along ceiling t bars in corporate or other environments originating from lighting instruments typically hung on a drop ceiling with ceiling scissor clamps avenger c1000 dropceiling scissor clamp i typically use spring clamps that do a good job for hanging excess cable using t bars but spring clamps are not the prettiest things to look at

So as well as these sharptank hooks are designed it did not meet my needs

As you can see by the photos below the measurement for the hook opening is 14 wide

That said these do have to be mounted on opposing sides of the track and slid together
