Pros

The suction is very strong, but you can turn off the rug-beater brush. Smaller rugs get lifted by the great suction.

The shark is powerful, quiet relative to other vacuums i've used, maneuvers smoothly, and is pretty lightweight. The only thing i would change is its weight. The unit itself is a little heavier than i would have liked also but it works very well.

It works so well and it glides very nicely over hard-wood flooring. Only complaint is that i still had some difficulty with my very shaggy rug. Makes my carpet look so amazing and fluffy.

If you have two large, long-haired dogs and a cat, a ball of fur probably isn't the grossest thing you've had to tough this week. The shark * the dirt and dog right up. Picks up dog fur like a magnet.

Cons

Removable hand nozzle has tons of suction but is cumbersome and awkward to use. Construction is surprisingly flimsy plastic.

The vacuum still gives off a strong toxic odor. This odor apparently comes from the main foam filter. I presume now that it's a chemical in the foam itself.

This vacuum is great for the price and i would buy it again

This is a great vacuum for the price

Had to purchase separately for additional 10 and it doesnt fit correctly

My shark was what i got instead because of the price and that it could also turn even without the ball

In fact the floor model of this vacuum that costco was selling had a broken clip from people walking by and playing with it

It easily rivals the electrolux canister vac ive had for years
