These oven mitts will definitely protect your hands when taking stuff out of the oven but theyre bulky since theyre mitts and not gloves which makes handling small trays like those for a toaster oven somewhat difficult

If i had one gripe it would be that the thumb is a bit big and clunky it wants to poke into whatever cake or pie youre grabbing if you try to do so with one hand
