Pros

I am sure it will last for years given a modicum of kind handling. It’s very sturdy and works. When handled by a second person such as a trainer - no problem.

Easy to read as long as you are facing a mirror for the chest measurement. The caliper is so easy to use and the instructions are easy to understand as well.

These calipers do their job. The spring really helps minimize the human error that is inherent to caliper measurements. Liked the accuracy of the double compression springs verses the competitions friction snap mechanism.

Cons

Hard to measure and read (no lock or easy to read markings). This is due to the spring force being too high. The instructions are a mess.

The caliper is inaccurate. This is thing is incredibly inaccurate. Very inaccurate. It is ridiculous.

I think it might be rated so high because everyone wants to hear that they are skinnier than they really are- who knows. Not obese. These calipers along with the chart that it came in, consistently tells me i'm at 8% body fat, while the lange calipers... Read More

I purchased this caliper over a year ago and i use it very regularly it holds up well to time and consistent use

I was very pleased by the quality of this product because i expected it to be flimsy and it was actually quite durable

Not suitable for everyone its essential to note that body fat calipers might not be the most accurate method for everyone

It is thinner and makes the measurements more precise repeatable

Price

This is a great caliper for the price

Glad i spent the extra 68 and went with this gunstyle over the cheaper handheld pinchstyle click one
