Pros & Cons
Pros
Jeff edwards' writing style get me hooked. It is very fast paced. Tense, gripping and involving. Next review is to them to stock your books.
A naval warfare thriller about anti-submarine warfare. One of the usn ships is a frigate, so this book must have been written some years ago, as the navy decommissioned its last frigate years ago.
The characters breath and come alive in this engrossing fiction. Great characters and colorful storytelling. Story line and plot very believable.
Cons
The scenario mr edwards develops seems highly contrived, and absurdly unlikely.
Highlights
Quality
Enjoyed the historical facts interspersed with the fictional middle eastern thriller
My heart ached with the loss of lives at sea and understood the resilience of the sailors during battle
I agree with the other readers that its a lot like tom clancy
Price
Almost bought the next book but the price point scared me off
Shipping
Wonderful writing i felt like i was on the ship with the rest of the sailors
Unbelievable that the potus did not declare war and did not support this ragtag task force of old lame ships
